We are taking you to Karatepe on Sunday. The place we refer
to as the Karatepe basin is actually the point where the Karatepe
Archaeological Open Air Museum is located, the Ancient City of Kastabala and
Kırmıtlı (Kastabala Bird Basin is located in the triangle formed by the
points).
It is a world-renowned bird habitat, stretching from the town
of Cevdediye to the village of Hemite, in the direction where the Ceyhan river
forms ponds. And here we visit the place where more than 150 bird tours live,
as well as three of the three kingfisher types. Then we go to Karatepe Open Air
Museum. It is a place that will change the history of the world because of the
bilingual inscription of Asitavanda, which enables the reading of Hittite
inscriptions. In addition, the ancient city of Kastabala, which we know that
the nuns of Artemis lived in this triangle, the village of Hemite, where we
know that Yaşar Kemal was born, and the forested area where many endemic
flowers live are used as the National Park. We return to Adana after the free
time where you can visit the workshops where the world-renowned Karatepe Kilims
are made and do shopping.
