First day; We reach Birecik, our first stop, from Adana in
the early hours of the morning. Here, after visiting and photographing the
Kellaynak Conservation Farm, we take you to Halfeti, which is under the waters
of the Birecik Dam. During our tour on the Dam Lake, we see the famous Savaşan
Village with its Greek Castle and its submerged minaret, and take a pleasant
tour of the lake. After having lunch in Halfeti, after an hour of free time, we
reach the center of Urfa, known as the city of prophets, and continue our tour
here. After visiting the holy places of Balıklı Lake, Eyüp and Abraham
prophets, we settle in the hotel where we will stay. We are taking you to a fun
dinner event to experience the famous Sira night of Urfa.
The second day; After having breakfast at our hotel, we start
to visit the Şanlı Urfa Museum, one of the important examples of contemporary
museology. Afterwards, we visit the Mosaic Museum, which has the only mosaic
depicting Amazons, known as female warriors in mythology. After lunch, we set
off for Göbeklitepe, the first known temple in human history, built twelve
thousand years ago. After Göbeklitepe, we set off for Gaziantep. Together with
the break we will take at the famous Historical Tahmis Kırathanesi, one of the
oldest coffee houses in Turkey, we leave you free time to visit historical
places such as Bakırcılar Bazaar and Zincirli Bedesten.
